![]() LUV YUR FACE! was set up in Julia Davis Park last Saturday for Boise Hempfest 2017. The weather held up nicely, compared to the flash blizzard the day before! With so much going on in Boise that day the turnout wasn't quite what we had hoped, but Laura and I had so much fun meeting a lot of nice people, taking photos and trying out some new gear. The day went off pretty much without a hitch and we had two firsts! One was by the official event photographer who said he doesn't take pictures well, but I told him, "Non-sense! We luv yur face!" Afterwards he said it was the best photo he has ever had taken of him. We were glad to oblige. We also broke a LUV YUR FACE! photo record. When we set up the green screen for our afternoon shots, the first family to come by to test the set-up was the Phillips Family. There were eleven of them! That's the most people we've ever fit into a shot! One more was that it was our first time at the Hempfest, so a big shout out to Serra Frank, the event coordinator for navigating easily through the set-up/registration process. LUV YUR FACE!

Luv Yur Face was lucky enough to be invited down town at the Grove Hotel this past election night. Whilst guests, campaigners and voters mingled, waiting for results, we were set up full green screen to provide some fun and much needed distraction.
Geno and I had a blast, as did our patrons. We'd like to thank all of the folks at the Grove Hotel for giving us so much exposure! We'd love to come back. All of the photos taken that night are in a slide show on our gallery page. Be sure and check them out. As divisive and contentious as this election was, it is our hope that we can all come together as Americans again...and love each other's faces! We'll take the lead and cast the first vote! LUVYURFACE! Boston Tommy ![]() When I first embarked on my Facebook journey earlier this year, I decided to post a Selfie of the Day with someone I met that day. It could be a friend who worked at Lowe's or a young girl who made my sandwich at Subway or the guy who smogged my car, but a selfie of me and someone else. The idea for my Selfie of the Day came from a millennial friend of mine, Grace. At the time she was cocktailing at Sam's Place. The next day I went to the Post Office to buy stamps and it was closed. Luckily, there was a woman there kind enough to help me figure out how to use the new fangled stamp machine. After I thanked her, I asked if she would mind being my Selfie of the Day? She agreed! I found it fascinating that a perfect stranger would allow me to take her photo and post it on the internet. Gotta luv her face! Since then I've taken a lot of selfies and now that Geno and I have our LUV YUR FACE! photo booth business up and going we thought it would be fun to have all of you send us your selfies so we can post them on our new WALL OF FAME! Let's spread the love....help us make our Selfie Wall of Fame the largest source of selfies in the world....send us your selfies, cuz we LUV YUR FACE! ![]() On our last pre-event test trying to work out some kinks and glitches, our friends Jason, Amanda and Dan came by the house with ALL the kids. Kandice enjoyed nice quiet nite at home! In terms of equipment performance it was truly a disaster. We had major printer issues all nite. Communication issues between the computer and the printer made for poor printing. However, most of the kids didn't seem to care. They still had a blast dressing up and taking their selfies! The smallest one in the bunch wasn't having any of it....Printer delays did not keep her from trying on every outfit and all our props!...And dressing up everyone else...including Cletis! Thanx to all our friends for having fun even at a bad test run. LUV YUR FACES! |
